COSRX - Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

So I know, putting snail mucin on your face doesn't necessarilly sound like something you'd want to do but hear me out here. After this post you might change your mind. 

COSRX  is a Korean brand known for using only the beneficial ingredients in their products. This makes most of their products suitable for sensitive skin.

I personally have very dry and flaky skin that is also really sensitive, that's also why I try to avoid fragrance in my skincare products. So I came across COSRX it seemed like the perfect brand for me and my skin.

Ingredients
Snail Secretion Filtrate, Betaine, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Arginine, Allantoin, Ethyl Hexanediol, Sodium Polyacrylate,Carbomer, Phenoxyethano 




The snail mucin essence consists of 96% (!) snail secretion filtrate. The essence is also free of any artificial fragrance, one of the reasons I bought it.

The bottle contains 100ml of product.

The Claims

• Smooth & moisturized skin
• Repairing of damaged skin
• Calming the skin

My experience

I have been using this essence for a few months now and I absolutely love it. The essence is really stringy (because snails duh), but I've gotten used to that really quickly. As for the claims I can say that they all are true, my skin hasn't been this soft and smooth in a very long time. Also when I have some pimples applying this essence calms the area down almost instantly. I use this essence after toner and before my moisturizer. This essence gives my face a really nice glow, without making my face oily. It has a dewy finish, but isn't tacky at all which is great.

I will defenitely repurchase this essence when I run out of it, which is soon unfortunately.

Overall this essence is a 10/10 for me!
